The Gaming Giant Brings Onboard Apex Legends Developer to Rescue Struggling Hero Shooter Ambitious Title
The renowned publisher has appointed Ben Brinkman from the creators of Apex Legends to oversee the development team at their internal studio, which is currently working on the upcoming third-person action-packed title known as Project Ethos.
Leadership Change Follows Poor Feedback
Brinkman assumes the role of studio head at 31st Union following the dismissal of previous head the ex-Sledgehammer Games executive, who was removed from his post due to the game's lackluster unveiling last fall.
On Wednesday, 2K president a key figure notified team members about this decision through an internal memo, which stressed that playtesting had revealed the necessity for a more defined vision.
Ismailer noted that the team is now overhauling Project Ethos with a refreshed focus, aiming to address gamer demands.

This announcement mirrors a comparable step taken by 2K Games in the summer, when they hired an industry veteran from the Diablo team to contribute to the beloved franchise development group.
Here is the complete content from the president's communication:
